Original painting.
I painted this because I love playing with light and shadows, especially the way a subtle touch of light can change the whole feeling of a painting. I have always loved being around woods and tall trees - their quietness and the soothing feeling they bring to our souls. I wanted to capture a little of that peaceful feeling in this painting.
